Could someone please kindly help me?
Im 25 years old and Caucasion. My husband is 27 and Latino. Are there more risks with having a baby if it is interracial?
Also how can I prepare for pregnancy? I am so scared that I am not oging ot have a healthy child. I used to work in the health cre field and you see so much wrong. I just want to do everything possible to help have a healthy child and a healthy pregnancy. Any tips or advice? We plan to start trying maybe this December. Thanks! Is waiting six weeks after the first day of your last period best, or is taking a risk to wait if there are already signs? I am barely at 30 days, but testing negative for pregnancy with pains in abdomen/ lower back. Doctor wants a sono of the pelvic area. I am waiting for my husband’s insurance to kick in too.

I’m turning 16 this year and I want to get a tattoo for my birthday. I want to get it on my hip bone and I also want to have children in the future. I wanted to know how a pregnancy would affect my tattoo.

A friend of mine has not had her period for over three months. She tests every two weeks and the pregnancy results always come back negative. However, she is concerned that she might have a tubal pregnancy, which-from what I hear-are not shown on a pregnancy test-false readings. She hasn’t any signs or anything. However, she does not have insurance and does not want to go to the doctor or hospital unless if she has too-if she has a tubal pregnancy she knows this must be taken care of immediately since this is life-threatening. I neek to know the signs so she and I can be aware of them. Is there a gradual showing of symptoms or do they come at once? Also, how long after conception do these symptoms appear?

I’m going tomorrow to get a pregnancy test and I was wondering how they do it. Is it a blood test? And also, how long does it take for them to get the results? Thanks!
If all they do is a urine test how are they any more effective than me taking a test at home?

I’m going to the doctor tomorrow. I’m 16 and i have to fake wanting a pap smear to find out. There is a mandatory pregnancy test in his office to get the depovera shot too, so I am also getting that. Is this a good idea, or is it something i should talk to my parents about?

Amanda asked: My grandmother and a cousin both developed severe rheumatic autoimmune diseases after pregnancy, when being previously fine before pregnancy. I have not been able to find any additional evidence of pregnancy causing an autoimmune disease to develop, but am wondering if anyone knows of a link between the two, either clinical or anecdotal.
I realize that pregnancy has effects on women who already have autoimmune diseases, but am trying to weigh the risks of developing an illness from being pregnant. Any additional information would be very helpful. Thank you!

With my first 2 pregnancies I had low amniotic fluid and my babies didnt grow well.I was just wondering how likely it is for that to happen with this pregnancy? And does it have anything to do with endometriosis, which I have? Every Doctor has told me endo has nothing to do with it.They also told me “low fluid” wouldnt happen with my 2nd one either and it did.

Grace asked: I know they count the weeks of pregnancy by the date of the last period. So if the last period was on Dec. 1st for example, Jan 1st would be sometime around week 4.
But what about those with longer cycles? With cycles that are 50 days long for example. So if two women have their period on Dec. 1st, one with a regular cycle and the other with a longer cycle, I believe that they didn’t conceive on the same day.
Am I right? Please explain.
